Elder Marchelle LeMay Cannady is the seed of a multi-generation of Christians, being reared in the Historic Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, Bunn, North Carolina.  

Legally licensed in the state of North Carolina as a gospel preacher on the 7th day of September, 2003, at Sandy Fork Missionary Baptist Church, Wilson, N.C. under the pastoral leadership of her beloved father, Pastor Clarence J. LeMay.
